09.24.2006 7:43 Are you looking for a good time?Ok, let me guess… The NASCAR bubbas have taken all the hotel rooms, so Amanda is asking the cop where another hotel is. Evidence of NASCAR activity: Bud Light litter.
somebody got arrested? now this thing is getting interesting!
Amanda, I know that this is your show, and everything, but, it is starting to drag worse than “RB”.
The reason we tune in is to see you. I know, you can do better than this. Glad you’re back!!!
Its Sunday, their day off..
Something is better than nothing..
Yeah, that’s certainly true, but how ’bout this: a few lines in the blog portion of the site from any one of the “Roadies” chronicling (is that a word?) exactly where you’ve been between major posts. That would be fun…especially to explain some of the inscrutable yet provocative photos on Flikr, It would also allow us to get a sense of Emily and Robs voices. Now, on the other hand, this may be like a road version of “where’s Waldo” and we need to guess where u r. Hummmmmmmm.
Did he not want a good time? I do, just kidding Amanda. No seriously I do. Ha ha ha, I’m and idiot… me luv you long ti ok ok that’s enough of that.
Odd post. It really means nothing to me. Perhaps you have to be “part of the club” to understand?
I would like to echo some of the other commentators in that it’s 6 days into the trip, and I still don’t really know what’s going on.
Yes, I understand that you are driving across America and “anything can happen”, but how about some info? Where are you headed next?
Where have you been? Seen anything interesting that wasn’t shown on the video? What does today’s video mean? Seems like you are keeping the viewers in the dark.
Also, I like the idea of the Flickr photos, but they don’t have any information. Perhaps some titles, tags, or descriptions so we know what we are looking at and where it happened? It would make it easier for people to search Flickr and FIND you and your project too!
Also: Is this trip just the precursor? Is there a Bigger project for Amanda when she gets to L.A.? I would have to think that is the case…
You’ll find us posting short, unedited clips and also more “episode” type videos… again, no format, no rules.
Hope you are enjoying the flickr as well! We’re going to try to add more text posts to the blog also… the East and West coast are packed with interviews that are taking up most of our waking hours…but I’m sure there will be PLENTY time in the middle
that’s great
That was frustrating….I thought there was suppose to be more video…..so I kept clicking and clicking….until I realised….that was the show…..
Hope you’re having fun.
The slice of life short vids and the interviews give this project a great road-trip feeling. Keep doing what you want to be doing. I’ll keep watching.
what happens this is not the real amanda we were used to see…….. c’mon where is the eclectic but professional amanda, the professional look of your video, the quality the audio the compression…….
got to agree to chrisMs post. you´re loosing the line, at least that´s the impression of the continuity for the audience. this piece was without any meaning. audio is not consistent. and some formating elements would support the whole thing tremendously.
So close to Washington, DC, and yet so far. You gotta stop by the monuments and swing out to Culpeper, VA! it’s happening. Ok, well, not happening, but historical…kind of. It’s cool. Hope to see you all!
Heh. It’s your roadtrip. Do whatever the hell you want. I’ll (we’ll?) write about it in the wiki.
I could use some help with http://amanda.wikia.com/wiki/Environmental_awareness please!
Leave messages at http://amanda.wikia.com/wiki/User_talk:Lpangelrob – thanks!
Okay, some of my posts are being posted, and some aren’t. I’m very, very confused!
Anyways, this is your road trip; do whatever the hell you want.
I’ll (we’ll?) keep writing about it in the wiki.
Why do you delete comments?
nice no rules. the conformist content-consumers should be less picky.
keep the format open.
Amanda, my mother used to work in a women’s prison. If you need me to, I can pull some strings and get you a cell with two sliver-sized windows instead of one.
cool, Carl
Nothing’s too good for Amanda
