This has been mainly a people oriented trip so far… rather than a place oriented trip… workaholic that I am…I’ve planned too many interviews with not enough time in-between them! I’ll know for next time. But we are having a total blast… meeting some terrific peeps on our way west.

Over the weekend, we decided to upload some short, unedited clips that I feel help to put the trip into context. I’d say they are more personal videoblog-style…. I like to keep the format loose, so one day we can be meeting with a Governor, the next we can be showing behind-the-scenes footage and out-takes. These short vids are more for those who are super interested in keeping up-to-date with the AAA tour… and are also for us… to help us to document our experiences… they aren’t meant to be “shows”.

Would people prefer to have a separate feed for these weekend clips?

I have also received a few emails from people who are frustrated that not everything is posted chronologically. We are trying to do this as much as possible. Short clips obviously are ready sooner… but in regards to the episode-type videos, we are on about a one week delay. For example, we will be in Minneapolis today, but up on the website is an interview that we shot last Monday in Jefferson City. We generally throw up videos as soon as the post-production is completed (we’ve been Fedex-ing lots of tapes to our wonderful editors almost every day).
