Pigs are amazing VIDEO (via Digg) — I eat pigs. I feel bad. Is it like eating my cat? oh man, I think I’ve officially become a cat blogger… If you watch the video, put it on mute, you’ll thank me, I promise.
The Geek’s Travel Guide — with this, you can conquer the world. Seriously, I learned about two or three new travel sites that look pretty awesome… long time fan of Gasbuddy.com
Burger King Offers Cage-Free Food — So happy to see a fast food joint step up to the plate like this and set an example for the entire industry.
You got your drugs in my candy! (via MetaFilter) — the people who make this stuff are the scum of the earth– I don’t care what they are high on.
New McDonald’s Goes Upscale (via Netscape) — the Burger King news got me in a bit of a competitive mood, since I’ve always preferred McDonalds (although I haven’t eaten fast food since AAA, so it’s not as if I’m some kind of expert on the subject). Have the consumers finally won? Is this the twilight zone? Good (enough) food, nice (enough) environment within which to eat it? Oh, saying that makes me miss the yogart parfait days in downtown Evanston’s urine encrusted McDonalds exactly… not at all.
I haven’t eaten pigs for 4 years now. Been a vegetarian for, like, over a year. They are about as intelligent as dolphins you know (well, some studies show anyway) And why should I have put it on mute?
Awww what a cute piggy in that video, I want one.
I too Amanda have consumed pig in the past, I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to again.
Sorry, I’m not giving up ribs. If the lord didn’t want us to partake, why did he make them so tasty?
I don’t like to eat pork…
people pushing meth to kiddies…nice.
Must you say urine encrusted and mcdonalds together. Nicholas likes the Big Mac. Now, he’s not so sure he can think about it with the same “relish”
Trev– for me, the music is just so overly sappy that it ruins the video.
I have conflicted feelings about vegetarianism… on the one hand, I’d like to go for it, but on the other, I know when i go too long without meat I don’t feel as well. I wonder if it has something to do with that “eat for your blood-type” thing… I think some people need meat to be healthy more than others. Or maybe that’s me rationalizing my choice. That’s possible.
