Soooooo - I don't get it - the Times and the rest of the world says you're out - you say, "nuh-uh" but your post is dated before some of the grimmer coverage.

A new post at the top of your page would be a good way to clarify and - if you are moving on - steer the coverage. I don't write as someone who's really pro or con you in any real way - just someone who is interested in the whole cycle of web folks extending into other branches of media.

Note that I don't use the old MSM tag as, and take no offense, you've been MSM in my opinion from day one (MSM in my mind being a way of approaching newsgathering and your best and worst moments have always been newsfeed-enabled)

Hey Amanda, glad to hear that you've got another project lined up. Best of luck with that

I've been working at a TV station in Minnesota for nearly a decade and hear about anchors & reporters contracts not getting renewed quite a bit (small station = regular turnover).

To the future! Cheers

Great to hear that you're disappearing from the internet entirely. I just wrote a blog post the other day about the news story that broke (ABC), and how Rocket Boom had been nowhere near as good since you left them.

There's an old saying about not being able to buy talent, isn't there...

Amanda-b

Well The NYT is up the street from ABC to be sure, also a little more hard ball. "Always emotions, the future is." according to Yoda. What does a green toad-like super hero know though, I mean, he wasnt even in the original story idea, sort of just was invented one day because Obi died in the first one. Hmmm, whats that clicking sound?

Anyway, Amanda-b -- I still think you're way cute, no matter what Yoda says.

Love and rockets

So I hear Amanda marched into the ABC office with a sledgehammer over one shoulder and a chainsaw in the other hand, and laid waste to a whole herd of MSM clones before anyone with a spine noticed. And even the spined lacked the sense to know what was happening or why.
