Odd thing this green stuff. I recall in college, Econ-something-something, they tried to tell us that it was all moot, at least thats what I learned.

As I recall the price of an energy efficient furnace factors in the potential savings in energy over the useful life of the furnace, so while it may cost only $100 to produce because it will save you $100 a year over 20 years it will cost you $2100. That’s a Prius costs an arm and a leg, because!

The money, by theory goes to invest in energy saving technologies. In reality, it buys cool sunglasses and weekend in Bimini.
